ABOUT RE/MAX® INTERNATIONAL
The history
Upset with the bad name that poorly trained novices and casual part-timers were giving the real estate profession, Dave Liniger in 1973 started a real-estate company in Denver that would limit itself to hiring only full-time professionals. He wanted a company where homebuyers and sellers could walk into any office in any market, confident they would receive the level of professional service that a transaction of such magnitude demands.
… continuous growth
In 1978, RE/MAX® added its 100th office and 1,000th Associate and the hot air balloon became its corporate logo. By the end of 1996, RE/MAX had offices in 20 countries and spanned five continents.
For more than 30 years, RE/MAX® has sought the top 20 percent of Associates who are estimated to do 80 percent of the business in residential property sales. Today, RE/MAX is number one in the United States.
… the most productive Associates
That basic concept enabled RE/MAX® (Real Estate Maximums) to grow into the most productive organization the industry has seen. RE/MAX® Associates on average have more experience and sell more homes than other Associates in the industry.
“Nobody in the world
Sells more real estate
Than RE/MAX®”
